[Fortress-interest] GSL or BLAS

I would like to have a play with fortress, but most of my work requires an
implementation of GSL (GNU Scientific Library) and probably BLAS (Basic Linear
Algebra Subprograms). How far down the read would it be before I would see this
in fortress? Would it be more likely to see them completely re-written,
translated from C/Fortran or would there be some kind of foreign function interface?
