[Fortress-interest] We're transactional!

We now have software transactional memory implemented in the Fortress interpreter.

Technical details:
   Built on top of DSTM2, an open source software package available from research.sun.com
   Obstruction Free algorithm
   Backoff contention manager
   Nested transactions are flattened.
