Hi Aklilesh,

You're correct that we're producing the spec with TeX (actually,  
LaTeX with in-house tools for automatically formatting Fortress code).

The idea of publishing the source for the sake of merging has us  
intrigued, but we're not prepared to do this just yet. Starting with  
1.0 beta, we will be providing lists of differences with previous  
versions. Hopefully, this will provide what you're looking for. At  
any rate, please don't hesitate to send us comments on older versions  
of the spec. Such comments are useful to us on many levels.
